The following Alert has been issued by the Department of Labor regarding all accounts in the Permanent Case Management System for PERM Labor Certification:
ALERT: As of Monday, August 25, 2014, all Permanent Case Management System (PERM) users will begin to comply with new password requirements for enhanced security. Within the next 90 calendar days, all PERM users will be required to change their existing password. Please refer to the OFLC website under Permanent Labor Certification, Helpful Links, Forms and Case Management section to access the PERM Quick Start Guide for Enhanced Account Management or by clicking here.
In order to update your PERM account password please access your master account through the PERM Foreign Labor Certification website. Instructions for changing your password can be found in the PERM Quick Start Guide (also linked at the end of the Alert). Passwords will need to be between 8-15 characters, contain a special character, include upper and lower case letters and have at least one number. You may reset your password on the Login Information Tab on the “My Account” Page.
Please note that the new password security requirements will involve creating a strong password that will expire every 90 days. The PERM system will send you a reminder email as your expiration date approaches so please confirm that the contact information for your account is correct. Please refer to the PERM Quick Start Guide for more information regarding the new security requirements or contact our office with any specific questions.
